Our CMCS Preparatory Course is designed to prepare one to take the CMCS Certification Exam. This course is pre-approved for 20 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) by the American Medical Billing Association. Throughout the course, you will answer questions that provide instant feedback to enhance your learning experience.
Upon completion of the last section, you will have the opportunity to take the final exam covering all of the sections you have completed. When you've completed the final exam, you will be able to print a certificate of completion. The test scores are not recorded until you take the final exam. You must correctly answer 75% of the final exam questions to achieve a passing score. If you do not achieve a passing score, you may retake the test.
Access to this course is set for one year. This course has 11 sections. Average Course Completion Time is 20 - 30 hours.
Required Materials:
This course follows the AMA HCPCS, ICD-10-CM, and CPT code books. You will need the current year’s editions to complete this course.
